Brushing a moulting cat tends to send loose hair floating off, onto the sofa and your clothes. This brush puts a fine mist of water on the coat first, so the hair clings to the bristles instead.
Fill the tank with plain water, switch on the mist and brush as you normally would. It charges by USB.

It dampens the coat very lightly, so loose hair gathers in the bristles instead of floating off. More of it ends up in the brush and less of it on the sofa.
No. The mist is fine and there’s very little of it, so the coat is only just damp.
For a cat who lives indoors, often yes. Steady indoor light and warmth can mean a light moult all year, with more in spring and autumn.
Start with the mist off. Let your cat sniff the brush, then try a few slow strokes and stop before it has had enough. Turn the mist on once the brush is familiar, and keep the first sessions short.
Plain water only. No oils, sprays, shampoo or anything scented.
It charges by USB. Empty the tank after each use and leave it open to dry, and lift loose hair from the bristles with your fingers or a comb.
